Are you looking to grow your business by adding Microsoft Azure to your portfolio? Look no further than Tech Data’s upcoming workshop on Microsoft Azure! I attended our first Azure two-day training hosted at Microsoft’s office in New York City. It was a jam-packed schedule, but presented valuable and actionable information for partners boost their Azure practice.

Our goal for the event is to provide you with the knowledge to better leverage key components of Microsoft Azure, such as backup and disaster recovery, site recovery, and virtual machine setup, as well as how Tech Data Cloud can simplify your process. Once you've completed the training, you will have all of the tools you need to build your own Azure practice.
Here is a glimpse of training in New York and what to expect:

Microsoft Azure Workshop: Day One

The first day set the stage for the workshop. We covered the cloud basics, how to pitch Azure solutions and how to quote Azure. The content was filled with real examples to help you be proactive and gain experience with hands on learning.
Matt Hamilton, Tech Data’s Azure specialist, walked through his cost model of backup, disaster recovery, and high availability. He broke down what products were relevant to each level and the level of effectiveness. He also covered the difference between Open and CSP for Azure. The night ended with a spectacular 48th floor dinner at The View restaurant.

Microsoft Azure Workshop: Day Two

The last day! The agenda for the day included a brief overview of cloud security, the various Azure offerings, and the tools available. Matt opened the training discussing Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS), which provides a comprehensive solution for identity, mobile device management, app management, and data protection.
