Creating a Culture of Continuous Process Improvement

Posted by Nicole Enright on Feb 5, 2014 3:20:13 PM

We’re in the business of accelerating our customers and suppliers success, and as a business that relies on improving the customer experience, it’s more important than ever to have a culture of continuous process improvement.

By establishing this culture internally, it allows everyone to improve as a whole, while effectively and efficiently better serving  partners, keeping the collective focus on what is most important: creating profitable growth for partners, customers and suppliers.

Over the past few years, Avnet Technology Solutions has worked hard at investing more in training for our employees in lean process improvement and other process improvement activities, and this has not gone unnoticed by our customers and suppliers. With these continuous process improvements, our employees become have more effective at offering end-to-end solutions, more efficient at solving complex business challenges and more productive, leading to Avnet Technology Solutions’ recent recognition as Distribution Partner of the Year by Riverbed for the Americas, 2013 CDW Partner of the Year and Distributor Partner of the Year for the U.S. by Insight.

We’re proud that we have been able to leverage our process improvement skills to help build relationships between ourselves and our partners and suppliers. We’ve helped to reduce cycle times and improve lead times, which helps our partners get their solutions to customers faster. This is not only improving Avnet’s productivity, but productivity within the supply chain with our partners and suppliers.
