As a ConnectWise partner, you have the tools to build the foundation of your cloud service provider (CSP) business. The self-proclaimed Swiss Army knife for MSPs, partners running ConnectWise Manage and CloudConsole together are set up for success with Office 365 via the CSP program. To continue the path to profitable business, here are three tips to help you make the most of your efforts.
20% Rebate Offer
First is the amazing 20% rebate offer announced at ConnectWise’s annual ITNation in Orlando last month. Microsoft and ConnectWise partnered together to bring this offer exclusively to ConnectWise partners starting January 1, 2017. ConnectWise partners can earn an additional 20% back-end rebate on all net-new CSP seats sold January 1 through March 31, 2017. There are a few caveats, so make sure you complete these three steps to secure your rebate earnings:
- Go to OneView to register your company: https://oneview.ms/CW
- Be sure to have your MPN ID (what you are selling CSP under) & your Connectwise Company ID
- Register before January 31, 2017
To review: any net-new CSP seats sold between January and March will earn 20% back. So when you are purchasing your orders, be sure it is tied to the same MPN ID that you registered. A single check will be issued for all earnings 90 days after the incentive period ends. You must be a Connectwise partner by December 31, 2016 and register by January 31, 2017.
Merchandise and Bundle!
The next way to give your bottom line a boost is by leveraging other ISV services when purchasing your CSP seats. With Tech Data’s StreamOne Solution Store, this is all possible in a one-stop shop. I think you get the picture.

Finally, it is important that you are taking advantage of the alerts feature in the CloudConsole. CloudConsole was built to generate alerts to the customer when certain thresholds are met. CloudConsole also connects with ConnectWise Sell (formerly known as Quosal), which would allow a quote to go out, not just a notice to call your account representative. Leverage these features to automate an up-sell process based on user behavior. Be sure you are setting alerts for when mailboxes reach a certain percentage of storage, and automatically generate a quote to the customer to expand the storage. Something this simple can help you generate additional revenue and provide a reason for your sales reps to call your clients. Not only does it give your clients the personal touch (you called them before they got locked in email jail for a day), but it prevents inconvenience and unexpected support tickets.
